SA Regional Manager

Redpath Partners is partnering with a respected, design-led engineering consultancy to appoint a Regional Manager for South Australia. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished Structural or Civil Engineer who wants genuine influence over people, projects, and regional growth.

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of the South Australian operation, leading a high‑calibre engineering team delivering complex and meaningful projects across multiple sectors. This role goes beyond technical oversight – you’ll shape strategy, drive performance and play a hands‑on role in growing the business. You’ll be trusted with autonomy and supported by a national leadership team, with the freedom to build a region you’re proud of. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop engineering teams, setting direction and fostering a high‑performance culture
• Provide senior technical leadership across structural and/or civil projects
• Own regional delivery outcomes – quality, programme, budget and client satisfaction
• Drive business development, client engagement and regional growth initiatives
• Oversee financial performance, resourcing, forecasting and fee management
• Manage multiple projects from proposal through to completion and invoicing
• Navigate challenges proactively, resolving issues with confidence and clarity
• Represent the business professionally with clients, stakeholders and industry partners

About You

• 10+ years’ experience in structural or civil engineering within a consultancy environment
• A proven track record leading teams and managing complex projects
• Strong commercial acumen and confidence in business development conversations
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
• Experience with contracts, resourcing, forecasting and financial oversight
• Relevant engineering qualifications and strong proficiency with engineering tools
• Leadership values grounded in professionalism, trust, accountability and fairness
