Today, we are going through one of the most exciting periods in our company's history. We are growing rapidly globally and expanding our EU‑based MES implementation team, seeking a SaaS / MES implementation engineer to join our dynamic team.

Our culture is fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, and rewarding. We've been recognized as a \"Great Place to Work\" for multiple consecutive years by fostering an inclusive and mission‑driven culture. If you are passionate about cutting‑edge software and global MES engagements, the future is bright for you at Vimachem, and we want to hear from you!

This position is a fully remote position for EU-based candidates, with up to 15% travel for on‑site customer visits.

About the role

As a SaaS / MES Implementation Engineer, you will play a key role in deploying Vimachem’s cutting‑edge Pharma MES modules across global pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

In this position, you will be hands‑on with system configuration, integrations, and solution delivery, ensuring that each implementation aligns with industry best practices and the unique needs of regulated manufacturing clients. You will be part of a high‑performing, rapidly growing team dedicated to elevating execution excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous platform improvement.

What will you do as a SaaS / MES Implementation Engineer?
  • Lead the implementation of Vimachem enterprise software solutions – from requirements analysis and configuration through testing, deployment, go‑live, and hypercare.
  • Configure system settings, business rules, roles, interfaces, and workflows to meet customer requirements.
  • Analyze and document customer manufacturing and IT processes to ensure optimal system alignment.
  • Execute hands‑on testing, troubleshoot issues, interpret logs, perform basic SQL queries, and support technical validation activities.
  • Develop technical documentation and configuration guides, and internal knowledge articles that will be used to efficiently support the system.
  • Work directly with customer IT, automation, QA, and production teams to ensure smooth implementation and compliance alignment.
  • Contribute to implementation playbooks, troubleshooting guides, and reusable assets.
  • Support customer teams in reproducing, analyzing, and resolving complex application behaviors.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Investigate and diagnose system behavior using logs, database queries, and integration traces.
  • Assist with API/web‑service–based integrations to ERP, historians, equipment systems, or other enterprise platforms.
  • Contribute insights to Product and Engineering teams, helping drive continuous improvement of Vimachem’s platform.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members as the team grows (without direct people‑management responsibility).
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, configuring, or supporting enterprise software systems.
  • Strong hands‑on configuration capabilities (settings, rules, roles, workflows).
  • Solid technical foundations in SQL.
  • Understanding of APIs and web services.
  • Comfort with system architecture concepts.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with customer IT/automation teams.
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Experience with MES or EBR systems in pharma/GxP environments.
  • Familiarity with GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11 , and data integrity principles.
  • Exposure to ERP, historians, equipment integrations, or SCADA/automation systems.
  • Background in supporting production systems or working in regulated manufacturing.
About You
  • You are willing to work in a fast‑paced, challenging, quickly changing environment.
  • You are keen to stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
  • You are tech savvy with years of experience in technical product implementations, working with customers through multiple forms of communication, including chat and web calls.
  • You are genuine, humble, curious, and willing to work in a fun, diverse culture.
