Safeguarding Social Worker

We are seeking to appoint a Safeguarding Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years’ post qualifying experience of working with safeguarding enquiries and leading safeguarding investigations.

To help us recruit social workers who are committed to working in Middlesbrough we are currently offering a 10% market supplement to social work salaries, once ASYE is completed, this will be reviewed at the end of March 2026.

In Middlesbrough our Access Safeguarding Team operate an assessment and safeguarding front door. This post would be dedicated to the management of safeguarding enquiries working within a team which consists of a Team Manager, two Principal Practitioners, six Social Workers, three Safeguarding Outreach Workers and two Safeguarding Administrators.
