Safety Coordinator - 1 Year Term Position

Rob Smith & Son Backhoe & Trucking Ltd. is a COR certified company engaged in the construction industry in Manitoba.The base of operations is located in rural Manitoba just north of Neepawa, MB.

Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain training records.
• Maintain Health and Safety Manual.
• Monthly inspection of fire extinguishers and first aid kits on trucks, equipment and sites.
• Monthly inspection of office, yard and shop and worksites for Safety and Health Program.
• Attend jobsites when necessary to complete Health and Safety electronic documentation.
• Maintain Sitedocs Health and Safety Program.
• Facilitate companywide re-orientation.
• Facilitate biweekly toolbox talks.
• Answer telephone and direct calls.
• Filing.
• Review Sitedocs daily and record relevant information.
