Job Description
- Manage, inspect, and evaluate the health, safety, and environmental protection of worksites to ensure compliance with government regulations and BOCW standards
- Monitor health, safety, and environmental protection compliance at the plant level by conducting workplace inspections and audits including those of contract operations and subcontractors
- Provide advice on the interpretation of local government requirements and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) regulations and codes
- Liaise with regulatory authorities to promote safety and resolve any issues of non-compliance
- Prevent injury and ill health by continuously improving our EHS programs through evaluation, review, and implementation of appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Models and promotes an organizational culture that fosters safety practices through effective implementation of the EHS management system.
