SAFETY ENGINEER

Responsibilities

A required Safety Engineer ensures that the organization adheres to all relevant safety regulations and standards set by the Department of Labor (DOLE) and the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS). The Engineer performs regular safety inspections and audits to ensure that safety practices are being followed and identifies areas for improvement. Responsibilities include conducting investigations, preparing documentation in the event of an accident, and recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences. The Engineer must conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace and implement measures to mitigate the risk. The Engineer is responsible for preparing and submitting reports on safety inspections, training, and compliance status to management and regulatory bodies.
