Safety Engineer

Job Summary

Report to the Project Safety-in-Charge and provide full assistance to the Project Management Team to ensure that the company complies with the OSH&E Policy and act as deputy Safety In-Charge in the absence of his site Safety Head.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Inspection, Monitoring and Surveillance Key Tasks

• i. Monitoring implementation of various safety program and procedures being enforced at site.
• ii. Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety and initiate corrective measures by responsible supervision.
• iii. Revalidation and ensure compliance of work plan with issued Work Permit/s.
• iv. Determine the required minimum Personal Protective Equipment applicable in the project and ensure its proper use at all times.
