Job Summary The Safety Officer is responsible for implementing monitoring and continuously improving safety protocols and practices in the forging unit This role ensures compliance with legal standards promotes a culture of safety and minimizes risks related to high-heat high-pressure forging operations Key Responsibilities Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits of forging operations Ensure compliance with all applicable safety laws regulations and internal policies OSHA Factories Act etc Identify hazards such as heat stress pinch points heavy lifting and noise exposure implement mitigation measures Develop and maintain Job Safety Analyses JSAs and Standard Operating Procedures SOPs Train employees on safety procedures PPE usage emergency response and safe machine operation Investigate incidents accidents and near misses prepare detailed reports and recommend corrective actions Monitor proper use of safet...
