The role is focused on ensuring full compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Law (DOLE Department Order No. 252-25, Revised IRR of RA No. 11058) while reinforcing and strengthening workplace safety practices across the CS Iloilo site.

Key Accountabilities

• Perform required duties set out in Rule 1047 of the DOLE OSH Standard as Safety Officer 3
• Facilitate Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Determining Controls on existing and new processes and equipment
• Conduct investigation and root cause analysis of accidents, health related issues, and other safety related issues and submit report to his/her immediate leader and to the Bureau if necessary
• Conduct safety inspections and audits
• Provide assistance to government agencies in the conduct of safety and health inspection, accident investigation or any other related programs
