Job Role - Assistant Manager - Safety & Security and Emergency Planning Department
Responsibility
- Support and assist Head of DTL Safety & Security in the East Coast Integrated Depot (ECID) safety, security & fire safety matters
- Be the person responsible for the safety, security matters and emergency responses of ECID
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to monitor compliance to existing safety procedures, legislations, regulations and code of practices.
- Liaise with DTL Safety Lead to conduct safety programmes, as directed by Head of DTL Safety & Security.
- Work with DTL Safety Lead to advise and guide on safety matters in the departments' maintenance and operational activities as required.
- Monitor safety compliance of work teams involved in hazardous work, such as working at heights, working in confined spaces, hot works, working with chemicals, etc.
