Safety Specialist

<p>This is an interview position.<br><br><br>Through partnership with assigned business locations the Safety Specialist ensures the safety of company personnel and assets are in compliance with legislative requirements, in support of our peopleservice- profit philosophy. Responsible for the implementation, analysis and evaluation of the following areas: occupational health and safety, risk assessment, JHSC, audits, safe driving, dangerous goods, Canada Labour Code Part II and WHIMIS. Provides leadership and guidance to junior staff as well as education to managers and employees.<br><p>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Degree - Health, Safety, Environment related preferred</p> <p>Accreditations/Certifications/Licenses (Preferred) - Professional accreditation (CRSP)</p> <p>Human Resources - 2 years</p> <p>Professional experience involving responsibilities in...
