Job Title: Safety Supervisor

Description

The Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. This role involves monitoring compliance with safety regulations, conducting safety training, and leading incident investigations to minimize workplace hazards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards.
• Lead investigations into accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate and deliver safety training programs for employees and management.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies.
• Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other relevant regulations.
• Respond promptly to safety emergencies and incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Safety Supervisor or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
