About the Role:

We are seeking a committed and experienced Salaried GP to join a well-regarded, traditional family practice in beautiful West Cork, Ireland. The practice serves a diverse community, including local residents, seafarers, and tourists, and offers an excellent working environment.

Located in a picturesque harbour town, along the famous Wild Atlantic Way, the surgery overlooks the harbour and provides a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a balanced, family-friendly lifestyle. With historical sites and outdoor activities at your doorstep, you can enjoy beautiful beaches and scenic countryside while delivering high-quality primary care.

Key Details:

  • Sessions: 6 - 8 sessions per week (flexible)
  • No weekends or out-of-hours commitment
  • Between 15,000-15,500 euro per session
  • Starting date: Immediate (negotiable)
  • Extra income opportunities: Option to earn additional income through the out-of-hours system

    • The Practice:

  • A mix of GMS and private patients
  • Friendly and supportive team: 1 full-time female GP, 1 part-time female GP, 2 practice nurses, 3 medical secretaries, and a practice manager
  • Excellent admin and reception support
  • Fully computerized practice management system (Socrates)
  • 5 weeks of holiday per year
  • Onsite parking available
  • Essential Requirements:
  • Registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)
  • Understanding of IMC standards and regulations
  • Recent relevant experience in family medicine
  • Interest in men's health is a must
