Overview of Responsibilities

  • Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
  • Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
  • Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
  • Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
  • Coordinating all event activities, including:Event setup and takedown Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetingsManaging sample supply and sample product inventoryPreparing event recaps via SharePoint
  • Maintaining program specific equipment
  • Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
  • Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base

    Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • High energy with a passion for Sprouts product
  • Thrives on customer engagement
  • Ability to suggestively sell product
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to follow cooking directions
  • Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
  • Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with store team members and support office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Results-oriented mindset
  • Problem solving skills
  • Intermediate level computer skills
