Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Governance / Sales Analyst with 4–5 years of experience in the telecom industry preferably to support leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong data interpretation skills, excellent presentation capabilities, and technical proficiency. This role involves monitoring sales performance, ensuring governance compliance, generating insights from telecom sales data, and preparing executive-ready dashboards and reports.
Educational Qualification: Graduate from a leading B-school; MBA or equivalent in Sales, Business, or Analytics is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
A) Sales Governance & Reporting
Monitor sales performance, pipeline, targets, and compliance with governance processes in the telecom domain.
Create executive-ready dashboards, reports, and presentations on telecom sales KPIs, trends, and opportunities.
Analyse sales data to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement in coverage, execution, and revenue attainment.
Support leadership in strategic reviews by preparing summary decks, MoMs, and detailed analytical reports.
B) Data Analytics & Tools
Build and maintain trackers, dashboards, and Excel/BI models to monitor telecom sales performance and governance adherence.
Translate raw telecom sales and operational data into actionable insights for leadership.
Work with tools such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and analysis.
Identify process gaps in telecom sales operations and recommend improvements using data-driven insights.
C) Coordination & Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and other teams to gather telecom-specific data and ensure accurate reporting.
Track progress of critical initiatives and follow up to ensure timely closure of governance and operational actions.
Act as a point of contact for leadership on telecom sales performance and governance-related queries.
Required Skills & Experience
4–5 years of experience in Sales Analytics, Sales Operations, or Governance, preferably in the telecom sector.
Strong command of MS Office—advanced Excel (analytics, modelling), PowerPoint (presentations), and Word.
Proven experience in preparing leadership-level sales reports, dashboards, and analytical presentations.
Strong data interpretation and analytical skills with the ability to translate telecom sales data into actionable insights.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Technically proficient and quick to learn new reporting or analytics tools.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage high-pressure deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting CXO-level or senior sales leadership in telecom.
Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and advanced Excel analytics.
Exposure to telecom sales operations, PMO, or governance processes is a plus.
