Role Overview
The Sales & Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving business growth by generating new leads, converting prospects into clients, and managing customer relationships within the manufacturing ecosystem. The role requires a blend of B2B sales expertise, technical understanding, and client-facing communication , particularly in engineering and production-driven environments.
Requirements
Preferred Experience & Industry Exposure
- Experience in Sales & Marketing within the manufacturing sector, or exposure to Plant Operations, Project Management, Production Planning & Control (PPC) .
- Prior industry experience in a Tool Room, Moulding Shop, Prototyping setup, or Automotive environment is mandatory.
- Technical exposure to Plastic Prototyping, Injection Mould Design, and Injection Moulding processes is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through online and offline channels and convert them into customers.
- Generate and manage RFQs , prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close orders.
- Coordinate with internal teams to manage projects and ensure timely execution.
- Proactively communicate project updates and timelines to clients.
- Support company-wide marketing initiatives and contribute to marketing content creation.
- Use LinkedIn Sales Navigator and similar tools for prospecting and lead engagement.
- Maintain accurate CRM records , including leads, accounts, and client interactions.
- Prepare and submit sales and performance reports as required by management.
- Profile client businesses to understand their operations, requirements, and pain points.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and high service standards.
