About the Role:
Our client is a global systems integration and managed services provider supporting large corporate and government organisations across Australia. As part of continued growth in Western Australia, they are seeking an experienced Sales Business Development Executive to drive new business acquisition and long-term account growth across mid to large-sized organisations. This role is responsible for managing the full enterprise sales lifecycle and developing strong executive relationships to secure complex, multi-year IT service engagements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage the full, complex sales cycle for high-value software/ SaaS to large businesses, focusing on building executive relationships, creating strategic account plans and driving annuity revenue growth.
- Own and grow key corporate and government accounts, with a focus on long-term value and strategic partnerships.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across core sectors in WA - mining, resources, government and related sectors.
- Develop and execute account plans aligned to client objectives, capability gaps and innovation initiatives.
- Engage with key internal teams across engineering, delivery, and executive leadership to ensure client success.
- Build C-level relationships and influence across client, partner and government stakeholder groups
Key Outcomes & Measures:
- Acquisition of new enterprise clients.
- Successful closure of high-value, complex IT solutions deals.
- Growth in annuity and multi-year managed services revenue.
- Strong executive engagement and long-term client partnerships.
About You:
You are a high-energy, relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys being out in the market, meeting customers, opening doors and crafting solutions.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years’ experience in enterprise sales, business development or account management.
- Proven success selling complex IT solutions (hardware, software, and professional services) to clients of 500-5000 seats.
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycles and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value deals.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills – from project teams to executive level.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, using strategic thinking to overcome obstacles and drive solutions for clients.
Bonus Points For:
- Track record working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 systems integration, managed services or similar business.
- Significant experience in new business sales or development.
- Knowledge of technology solutions such as systems integration, cybersecurity, cloud platforms, C4ISR, or mission-critical software is highly regarded.
