POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Head of Business Development – Subcontinent, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the India Sales team, based in India and Dubai, through effective administration, coordination, and contributions to revenue growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
SALES COORDINATION
- Assist with the management of new and existing client relationships
- Respond to inbound calls and emails, escalating or handing over to the relevant Sales Manager as required
- Oversee the Salesforce system, ensuring all data is accurate, complete, and up to date
- Support sales teams with market analysis activities, through research across platforms such as Linked In and Trip Advisor and Pulling Reports via SAP and/or Salesforce
- Research and identify hotel leads and relevant contact details for potential hotel partners
- Support the successful deployment of Subcontinent corporate accounts
- Prepare quotations, order forms, and packing forms, ensuring all system data remains current
- Manage seeding stock, including inventory control and allocation
- Collaborate with the Brand Licensing team to ensure sales collateral and samples align with brand approvals and guidelines
- Conduct monthly stocktakes of samples on hand
- Order and manage licensee retail items
- Assist with hotel sampling initiatives and gifting programs
- Take minutes for internal meetings
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and motivational spirit with stakeholders at all times
- Working and collaborating with cross functional teams to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
- Be a confident decision maker in situations of ambiguity and clearly conveying the reasoning for your decision
- Manage upwards, articulating delays/roadblocks to Head of Business Development Subcontinent with a solution focused approach
- Lead through the Company’s values, coaching, supporting, and providing feedback to the team when required
⭐ ABOUT YOU
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in sales administration or team assistant role
- Experience in beauty, hospitality or FMCG is highly desirable
- Strong administration and customer service background
- Working knowledge of SAP (nice to have but not mandatory)
- Working knowledge of Salesforce (nice to have but not mandatory)
- Proficient in MS Office with strong focus on Excel
- Have worked in high SKU/3 PL environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A lover of beauty and travel
- Exceptional phone and email manner
- Ability to adapt and problem solve in an always agile environment and the ability to multitask with various deadlines
- Highly organised and structured approach to day-to-day workload
- Positive can-do attitude
