Responsibilities:

  • Strategic, operational and technical responsibility for the corresponding car segment (planning units/assemblies).
  • Worldwide application technology support for members of the automotive team.
  • Designing, implementing and coordinating national and international marketing activities
  • (Key) Account Management
  • Strategic and operational planning on an annual basis (including inputs for the forecast)
  • Price negotiations (global and local)
  • Lateral leadership of the account team
  • Business development & Project management (new product developments, sales projects, special projects), in particular development of the basis for decision-making on the project results
  • Obtaining market information and identifying potential
  • Qualifications:

  • Graduate engineer (technical university, university of applied sciences), preferably specialising in mechanical engineering, industrial engineer, business economist or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in practice
  • Several years of experience in the field of sales&application, marketing, product management – preferably in the automotive industry
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and German
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30 %)
