Role Overview:
Appknox is scaling its US business and is looking for a high performing outbound Sales Development Representative based in Bangalore to build a qualified pipeline for the US market.
This role is focused on outbound led pipeline creation for mid market and enterprise customers, selling into security, engineering, and technology leadership. You will work closely with Account Executives to open new logos, penetrate target accounts, and convert first conversations into qualified sales opportunities.
This is a high ownership role for someone comfortable with volume driven outbound prospecting, direct US buyer interactions, and working consistently in US aligned hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Pipeline Generation
Own outbound pipeline creation for assigned US accounts and territories
Prospect into defined ICPs including CISOs, Heads of Application Security, Engineering Leaders, and Security Architects
Execute high volume, high quality outreach using cold calling, personalized email, Linked In, and account based prospecting.
Qualification and Handover
Qualify prospects based on use case, urgency, stakeholder alignment, and buying intent
Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure clean, context rich opportunity handover.
Market Specific Outreach
Tailor messaging for US industries, buyer personas, and security maturity levels
Continuously refine outreach based on response rates, conversions, and prospect feedback.
Execution Excellence
Maintain accurate CRM hygiene and activity tracking
Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity, meetings booked, and pipeline targets
Operate with strong discipline around follow ups, sequencing, and objection handling.
Requirements:
Experience
3-4 years of experience in outbound B2 B Saa S sales development
Prior experience selling or prospecting into the US market from India is strongly preferred
Experience in cybersecurity, developer tools, or enterprise Saa S is a strong advantage
Track Record
Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed outbound meetings booked or pipeline targets
Demonstrated success working closely with Account Executives in a quota driven environment.
Prospecting Skills
Strong cold calling, email outreach, and social selling skills
Comfortable engaging senior technical, security, and engineering stakeholders in the US
Communication
Excellent spoken and written English
Clear, confident, and concise communication style suited to US buyers
Ownership and Discipline
Strong time management and prioritization skills
Ability to operate independently in a hybrid setup while owning outcomes
Tools and Technology
Hands on experience with CRM tools such as Hub Spot or Salesforce
Familiarity with sales engagement platforms and Linked In Sales Navigator
Growth Path
High performing SDRs will have the opportunity to progress into Senior SDR or Account Executive roles as the US business scales.
