Hiring for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) role with a fast-growing technology services provider delivering innovative IT consulting, cloud, and digital solutions.

Role details:

  • Title / Designation: Sales Development Representative
  • Location: Chennai, India.
  • Work Mode: 5 days WFO
  • Shift Timing: 4.30PM - 2.30 PM
  • Reporting Manager: Vice President
  • Role & responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by qualifying leads from self-research, marketing campaigns, and events.
  • Engage potential clients through cold calls, emails, and presentations introducing the company and its services.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings or calls with prospective clients.
  • Stay updated on the company’s technology service offerings.
  • Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly sales activity metrics.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and time-management skills, a startup mindset, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a global, diversity-focused mindset.
  • Candidate requirements:

  • Junior-level professional with 3-8 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, lead generation, and business development for the US market.
  • Strong background in the IT consulting and services industry, with hands-on experience using various sales techniques, including cold calling.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales activity targets and revenue goals.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales execution platforms.
  • Understanding of key sales performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work night shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
