Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. The SDR will play a key role in driving company growth by identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients, and generating qualified leads. This position is ideal for a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for connecting with people to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential clients, industries, and markets to expand the company's customer base.
  • Initiate outbound outreach (calls, emails, social media) to engage prospects and uncover their needs.
  • Qualify inbound leads and ensure they align with the company's target customer profile.
  • Schedule meetings or demos between prospects and Account Executives or senior sales team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to nurture them through the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and optimize lead generation strategies.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics (e.g., calls made, meetings booked, opportunities created) using CRM software.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to position the company effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role (preferred but not required).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a knack for building rapport.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfort with sales platforms.
  • Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a drive to exceed targets.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
