Role Overview The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the "tip of the spear" for our GTM team. You will be responsible for exceeding revenue quotas by generating new business opportunities and launching outbound motions to create impactful meetings. This role requires a high-velocity mindset, a passion for cybersecurity, and the persistence to infiltrate target accounts through strategic prospecting.
Duties & Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation: Launch outbound motions (email, cold calling, social selling) to identify and qualify new business prospects within the cybersecurity domain.
Discovery & Qualification: Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect pain points regarding "implicit trust" and map them to InstaSafe’s Zero Trust solutions.
Sales Collaboration: Partner closely with Account Executives and Marketing to drive accurate forecasts and weekly reports on new business opportunities.
Prospecting: Harness referrals, existing relationships, and techno-graphic data to uncover high-potential accounts.
Brand Advocacy: Act as a cybersecurity ambassador, articulating the value of ZTNA, IAM, and MFA to prospective clients.
Process Integrity: Maintain meticulous records in Salesforce/CRM, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to the InstaSafe sales play book.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills

Education & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably within the SaaS or Cybersecurity sector.
Track Record: Proven ability to meet or exceed activity-based targets (calls, emails, meetings set).
Core Technical Skills
CRM Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ZohoCRM or similar CRM tools.
Sales Tools: Familiarity with prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, ZoomInfo).
Security Awareness: Foundational understanding of ZTNA, IAM, SSO, and MFA.
Preferred/Good-to-Have
Experience with AI-native workflows to automate research and message personalization.
Sales training certifications (e.g., Sandler, SPIN, or Challenger Sales).
