Role Overview
We are looking for a high-energy, motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Barcelona team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Spanish , proactive in outbound prospecting , and skilled at qualifying inbound leads . You will be the first point of contact for potential customers and play a crucial role in generating pipeline for the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels to generate new business opportunities in international markets.
- Manage and respond to inbound leads, ensuring timely follow-up and thorough qualification.
- Understand potential clients' needs, pain points, and business goals to determine fit with RateGain solutions.
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to refine messaging and improve lead quality.
- Achieve and exceed monthly KPIs related to outreach, meetings booked, and qualified opportunities created.
- Represent RateGain professionally and create a strong first impression with prospects.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken) is mandatory.
- 1–2+ years of experience in an SDR, BDR, or similar sales role (preferably in SaaS or travel tech).
- Strong outbound sales skills, including cold calling, emailing, and social selling.
- Experience handling and qualifying inbound leads.
- Comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and articulating value propositions clearly.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales engagement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, HubSpot).
- Highly organized, self-driven, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
