The Sales Engineer will serve as the technical voice on the Sales team, combining technical expertise with sales skills to effectively sell complex products and services. This role involves understanding product capabilities and client needs, preparing and delivering technical presentations, collaborating with sales teams, and providing pre-sale support through labor estimates for customer RFQs. The Sales Engineer bridges the gap between technical solutions and client requirements, explaining features in terms of business value and ensuring solutions meet customer challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary resource for technical support to the sales team and assist in closing deals.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain processes to current and potential customers.
  • Prepare labor quotes based on customer-provided drawings, BOMs, and Statements of Work.
