Job DescriptionSales Engineers partner closely with the Sales and Channel team to present cloud, web security and new threat technologies to prospects. This is a self-driven, fast paced, agile environment and you will work with some of the best developers in the industry. ResponsibilitiesProvide technical pre-sales subject matter expertise partnered with sales account executives for customer meetings, webinars and product demosWork closely with customers and sales account executives to develop hardware/software network architecture and designs for new installations and upgradesPerform remote and on-site product/solution proof-of-concepts, initial configurations, and product trainingCreate and manage internal and external product and training documentationAttend and present at trade shows and on-site trainingQualificationsExcellent customer-facing presentation and communication skillsThorough understanding of the sales lifecycle processAbility to simplify complex issues and articulate technical & business solutions to a wide range of customer roles from senior executives (CxOs) to hands-on engineersStrong interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and driven; ability to perform and excel with little supervisionExcellent collaborator and teammateFrequent on-site travel to customer locationExperience as pre-sales engineer or equivalent5-7 years of experience designing and supporting multilayer IP networks; routing and switching5-7 years of experience with network security; firewalls, intrusion prevention, risk assessment, pen testing, content filtering, PKI, SSL/TLS5-7 years of experience managing large (>1k seat) Windows and Mac workstation deployments5-7 years of experience managing Windows Server and Red Hat Linux server environments; Expert level with Linux5-7 years of experience managing DNS; Microsoft and BindExperience in virtualization and specifically VDI implementationsExperience in acquiring and analyzing packet capturesExperience managing enterprise deployments of iOS, Android, and Chromebook devicesExperience writing SQL queriesExperience with Agile methodologies and toolsRequirementsBS/MS degree in Engineering and/or Computer ScienceMIS graduates are a plusSolid understanding of networking, server, and web technologiesExperience with IT management products and servicesDatabase query language (SQL) and report development is desirableDomain expertise with IT operations, application management and/or security/compliance is desirableExperience with network directories is desirable
