Strategically position profitable solutions with new customers, focusing on domestic and international freight products and services.Build density as the company expands offerings in foreign markets such as Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.Maintain specific knowledge regarding international and domestic freight forwarding, gateway operations, and current market trends.Generate new sales revenue independently for a designated geographic region.Develop a strategy for cold calling, qualifying, and effectively connecting with prospective business partners.Create and drive a sales plan strategy that meets monthly sales goals and initiatives.Utilize internal tools to negotiate competitive market freight rates for customers.Deliver the highest level of customer service to internal and external business partners, ensuring task completion to satisfaction.Manage accounts to retain and grow the current client base.Maintain knowledge of the company’s specialty services, internal resources, competitive strategies, and customer requirements.Expand and cultivate the company’s carrier and agent network while developing new partner relationships.Promote, monitor, and engage employees to exceed metrics and organizational goals.Coordinate and strengthen efforts and communication with Sales and Logistics Account Executives to maximize visibility of the international service portfolio. Qualification criteria:Experience: 3+ of sales experience in international freight forwarding, focused on high-volume accounts.Operations Knowledge: Prior experience in international operations is recommended.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of international freight forwarding, domestic, and gateway operations.Business Development: Ability to independently develop new business opportunities outside of the company’s existing customer network.Communication Skills: Effective communication and relationship maintenance skills, with the ability to negotiate with customers.Analytical Skills: Ability to strategically analyze and pursue opportunities for continuous organizational growth.Presentation Skills: Excel in high-stress situations with senior and C-level executives; present clearly and overcome objections using data-driven negotiation tactics.Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel to meet demands for training, staffing, and customer expectations.Compensation Structure: Competitive base salary with commission based on sales targets.
