Job Description

We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative with a strong ability to build relationships, understand customer needs, and convert opportunities into successful sales.


Altered Security is an information security startup with focus on edtech, hands-on learning and focused security assessments. It has offices in India and Singapore.


We are experts in information security training, cyber ranges, online labs and security assessments. We have trained more than 50000+ information security professionals from more than 130+ countries across the globe through our in-person and online trainings.


Role Overview

As a Sales Representative at Altered Security, you will be instrumental in expanding our client base, generating new revenue opportunities, and building long-term relationships with organizations and individuals interested in red team training and certification programs. You will be working closely with the leadership and technical teams to understand our offerings and effectively communicate value to prospects.


Key Responsibilities

- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities across enterprises, training partners, and individual clients.

- Generate leads through outreach (email, calls, social channels) and events, turning interest into signed engagements.

- Present and demonstrate Altered Security’s training programs, labs, and certifications, clearly articulating how they solve customer needs.

- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through the entire sales cycle — from discovery to closure and renewal.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasting in CRM tools.

- Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to refine offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.

- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities in cybersecurity training.


Who You Are

- You have previous experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition (tech/cybersecurity sales experience is a big plus).

- You are self-driven, target oriented, and comfortable owning your process end-to-end.

- You have strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- You’re passionate about cybersecurity, technology, or professional development.

- You can translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences.
