Job Summary
We are looking for a Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new business in the education and learning ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience selling educational platforms, courses, training programs, or academic partnerships, and a proven ability to close deals end-to-end.
This role is target-driven and directly impacts the company’s growth.
Job Qualification
- 3-6 years of sales or business development experience in the education / Ed Tech / training domain
- Proven track record of bringing business and closing deals with educational institutions
- Experience selling courses, training programs, learning platforms, workshops, or academic collaborations
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build long-term relationships with institutional stakeholders
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with outbound sales
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and campus engagements when required
Nice to Have
- Existing network with colleges, universities, or training partners
- Experience in industry–academia collaboration programs
- Understanding of student skilling, employability, or career-readiness programs
Job Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, for education-focused offerings
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities with colleges, universities, training institutes, Ed Tech platforms, and learning partners
- Pitch and sell educational platforms, courses, workshops, demo lectures, corporate training, or academic–industry programs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with TPOs, HODs, Deans, faculty members, and institutional decision-makers
- Understand client requirements and propose customized solutions aligned with their academic and business needs
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and commercials, and negotiate contracts to close deals successfully
- Track sales pipeline, forecasts, and revenue using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal teams (Delivery, Marketing, Ops) to ensure smooth execution post-sale
- Represent the company at education events, seminars, campus meets, and industry–academia forums
- Stay updated on trends in education, skilling, and Ed Tech to identify new opportunities
