Sales Head (FMCG)


Reporting To: CEO

Experience Required: 15+ years in FMCG sales, with a proven track record in
food product categories.




Job Summary





The Sales Head will be responsible for
strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives to achieve business
growth and profitability for the organisation. This role requires a dynamic
leader who can drive sales, build a high-performing team, and establish the
company’s products as market leaders.





Key Responsibilities







  • Develop
    and implement the monthly, quarterly & annual sales strategy aligned
    with business objectives.

  • Define and
    achieve sales targets, revenue goals, and market share growth.

  • Build, mentor,
    and manage a high-performing sales team.

  • Set clear
    goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and drive motivation within
    the team.

  • Conduct
    market research to understand consumer behaviour, competition, and
    trends.

  • Identify
    new market opportunities and design strategies to capitalize on them.

  • Oversee
    channel sales (distributors, wholesalers, and retailers) and modern
    trade.

  • Optimize
    channel partnerships and negotiate favourable terms.

  • Prepare
    and manage sales budgets and forecasts.

  • Monitor
    expenses and ensure alignment with the approved budget.

  • Build and
    maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including
    distributors, retailers, and strategic partners.

  • Collaborate
    with the marketing team to design and implement sales campaigns and
    promotional activities.

  • Ensure
    proper visibility and placement of products in the market.

  • Track
    sales metrics and generate regular reports for senior management.

  • Use
    data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
