Job Description
The Role:
- Team Leadership: Sales managers oversee and motivate their sales teams, setting clear objectives and providing guidance to help team members reach their potential
- Sales Strategy Development: They devise and implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying customer needs, and adjusting tactics to capitalize on opportunities.
- Performance Tracking: Sales managers monitor their team's performance against set targets and key performance indicators (KPIs). They use data to forecast sales trends and make informed decisions to optimize the sales pipeline.
- Collaboration: They work closely with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure that sales efforts are aligned with overall business strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
- Reporting: Sales managers are responsible for producing sales reports and forecasts, which help in assessing the team's performance and planning future strategies.
Ideal Profile:
- You have at least 3 years experience within Sales role, ideally within the building material industry.
- You have working knowledge of sales engineer, building material sales, sales, business development, tiles sales, laminates sales, plywood sales, acp sales and wall panel sales
- You are a strong networker & relationship builder
- You are highly goal driven and work well in fast paced environments
- You enjoy finding creative solutions to problems
