Role Overview

The Sales Manager will lead business development for Affordable Home Loans & LAP, driving sourcing, team productivity, and market expansion at Malad. This role demands strong leadership, market knowledge, and experience in affordable housing finance.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Drive business sourcing for Home Loans (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) in the affordable segment.

  
  


• 
  

  Manage & mentor a team of Relationship Managers to achieve monthly sales targets.

  
  


• 
  

  Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, connectors, builders, and DSAs.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor team performance, pipeline movement, login-to-sanction ratios, and disbursement quality.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with policies and maintain healthy portfolio quality.

  
  


• 
  

  Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and explore new sourcing channels.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate closely with credit, operations, and legal teams to ensure smooth processing.

  
  

Eligibility Criteria

• 
  

  Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in Home Loans / LAP (affordable segment preferred).

  
  


• 
  

  Prior experience handling field sales teams is mandatory.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong local market knowledge of Malad & Western Mumbai region.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
