Role Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving business growth in the Educational Institution Finance segment by acquiring and managing relationships with schools, colleges, universities, and allied institutions. The role includes team handling, business development, and portfolio quality management.
Key Responsibilities

Drive sourcing and acquisition of Educational Institution Finance business through direct and referral channels

Build and manage strong relationships with educational institutions, trustees, and management bodies

Lead, mentor, and monitor the performance of Relationship Managers
-
Ensure achievement of business targets for disbursements, revenue, and portfolio growth

Maintain asset quality and ensure adherence to credit, risk, and compliance guidelines
-
Identify crosssell opportunities for other banking products
-
Track market trends, competition, and propose effective growth strategies
-
Ensure timely documentation, disbursement, and postdisbursement followups
Eligibility Criteria
-
Graduate in any discipline (Postgraduate preferred)

Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Educational Institution Finance / SME / Wholesale Banking

Mandatory team handling experience

Strong relationship management and business development skills

Good market connect in Surat and nearby regions
