Title: Sales Manager - Weddings Reporting to: Head of Business Development Brand: Bombay Sweet Shop THE ROLE At Bombay Sweet Shop, we are driven by the belief that gifting should feel personal, joyful, and memorable. As Sales Manager - Weddings, you will lead and grow our wedding gifting vertical, one of the most important and emotionally driven growth areas of the brand. This role owns the end-to-end wedding sales journey across invitations, return favours, in-room hampers, trousseau gifting, and bespoke wedding collaborations. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, leading a focused sales team, and ensuring seamless execution from first enquiry to final delivery. Weddings are not transactional sales, and this role requires someone who understands the importance of trust, detail, and long-term relationship building. You will work closely with internal teams across product, design, marketing, and operations to ensure that every wedding experience is aligned with the brands quality, aesthetics, and service standards. This is a leadership role with clear revenue ownership and the opportunity to scale a high-impact vertical within a growing brand. WHO YOU ARE You are a confident sales leader with a strong client-first mindset and a deep appreciation for detail, aesthetics, and service. With at least 5 years of experience in sales and team leadership, ideally within weddings, luxury retail, hospitality, gifting, or premium consumer brands, you are comfortable managing high-value, high-expectation clients. You bring structure to fast-moving environments, lead with clarity and accountability, and are proactive in identifying solutions. You balance creativity with commercial outcomes and are excited to build and scale a business vertical rather than simply maintain it. You will lead a dedicated wedding sales team and help grow this sector. You are responsible for setting clear expectations, building capability within the team, and ensuring consistent service standards across all wedding enquiries and orders. You will work closely with product development, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure strong alignment between what is sold and what is delivered. WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO You will report to the Head of Business Development and collaborate closely with senior leadership to shape strategy, processes, and long-term growth for the wedding sales vertical. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Team Leadership and Revenue Ownership Own and drive revenue targets for the wedding sales vertical Lead, mentor, and motivate the wedding sales team to consistently meet and exceed targets Set clear goals, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching Support hiring, onboarding, and training to build a strong and scalable team Wedding Gifting Strategy and Client Experience Act as the escalation point for high-value and complex wedding clients Oversee end-to-end client journeys from enquiry and concept development to execution and delivery Curate and evolve wedding gifting offerings in collaboration with product and design teams Ensure all wedding gifting reflects Bombay Sweet Shops quality, aesthetics, and attention to detail Sales Growth and Business Development Proactively build relationships within the wedding ecosystem including planners, venues, stylists, and partners Drive repeat business, referrals, and long-term partnerships Identify market trends, client needs, and competitive insights to inform new offerings and pricing strategies Operational Oversight and Reporting Ensure strong coordination with operations, logistics, and finance teams for smooth execution Oversee billing, timelines, and fulfilment for the wedding vertical Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports on revenue, conversion, and pipeline health Identify process gaps and work with leadership to implement improvements SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, ideally within weddings, luxury retail, hospitality, or premium gifting Proven experience managing teams and high-value client relationships Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creativity and profitability Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable in fast-paced environments WHAT YOU WILL GET A leadership role in one of the brands most important growth verticals Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives Opportunity to shape and scale a high-impact business vertical A collaborative, passionate, and creative team environment The chance to work with a brand redefining modern Indian gifting If you are excited to lead wedding sales, build meaningful client relationships, and create gifting experiences that people remember long after the wedding day, we would love to hear from you.
