Position: Import Sales Executive/manager Sea Freight

Industry: Freight Forwarding & Logistics

Location: New Delhi (Near Janakpuri)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Import Sales Executive Sea Freight to develop and grow import business from China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia to India. The role focuses on client acquisition, relationship management, and consistent volume generation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sea import business from key Asian origins.
  • Acquire new import clients and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Understand customer requirements and offer suitable sea freight solutions (FCL, LCL, OOG).
  • Coordinate with pricing and operations teams for competitive quotations and smooth execution.
  • Follow up on inquiries and convert them into confirmed shipments.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets in terms of volume and revenue.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of sea import freight forwarding.
  • Understanding of Incoterms, import documentation, and customs procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
  • Target-driven with strong follow-up abilities.

Eligibility & Experience

  • 5-8 years of experience in import sales (sea freight) with a freight forwarding company.
  • Experience in Asian trade lanes preferred.
  • Graduate in any discipline.

Compensation

  • ₹10 – 20 LPA
  • Salary is flexible and negotiable , depending on experience, client base, and performance potential.
