Job Description

New Business Development:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities through calling and networking.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospects.



Account Management:

  • Develop and execute growth plans for existing clients.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).



Sales Execution:

  • Prepare proposals, tenders, and negotiate margins.
  • Close deals and achieve monthly/quarterly targets.



Territory Management:

  • Be active in your area by daily.
  • Manage your schedule to maximise client engagement and coverage.



Reporting & CRM:

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM.
  • Provide reliable forecasts and pipeline updates.

The Successful Applicant

Experience:

  • 3-5+ years in B2B sales (industrial, services, or related sectors).



Skills:

  • Strong consultative selling and negotiation ability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • CRM discipline and ability to manage full sales cycle.
  • A proven track record in sales, particularly in the retail industry.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
  • Resilience and commitment to cold calling and territory development.
  • A mindset to treat the role as running your own business.
