What You Can Expect
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing and growing a defined territory, driving market share through the promotion and sale of Zimmer Biomet’s orthopaedic portfolio.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideally suited to an experienced Medical Device Sales professional who thrives in the operating theatre environment and enjoys building long-term, trusted relationships with surgeons, nurses and hospital stakeholders.
How You'll Create Impact
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Owning and executing a Territory Sales Plan to achieve and exceed sales targetsGrowing revenue within existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunitiesBuilding strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams and hospital stakeholdersPromoting Zimmer Biomet solutions and executing national marketing initiatives at a territory levelActing as the key liaison between customers and internal teams including Marketing, Operations and FinanceProviding high-quality operating theatre support, demonstrating professionalism, preparation and technical confidenceDelivering product training, in-services and workshops to customersEnsuring all activity is compliant with regulatory, quality and legal requirementsOperating Theatre & Case Management
A significant component of this role involves supporting cases in theatre and managing end-to-end case logistics, including:
Proactively securing case bookings with hospitals and practice managersManaging instrument and implant preferences through internal systemsCoordinating loan sets and reviewing instrument trays prior to casesProviding in-case support as requiredManaging long-term consignment stock and post-case returnsWhat We’re Looking For
Essential:
Degree qualification in Business, Marketing, Health, Nursing, Science or a related disciplineMinimum 2+ years’ experience in medical device salesDemonstrated success in achieving sales growth and territory performanceStrong commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert opportunitiesConfidence engaging with and presenting to senior medical professionalsAbility to quickly learn complex products and technical informationStrong relationship-building and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, positive and solutions-focused mindsetHighly Desirable:
Orthopaedic or operating theatre experienceExperience working across multiple business functionsKnowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitor portfoliosTravel Expectations
Significant and frequent travel on own sales territory (90%)Infrequent domestic and international travelEOE/M/F/Vet/Disability
