Lutron Electronics Co., Inc. has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative-Luxury Residential in Mexico City. A successful team member will drive the sales of Lutron’s luxury residential solutions in a B2B environment by creating demand with residential architects, interior designers, custom builders, and developers and nurturing those opportunities with our dealer channel partners. We positively influence decision makers in the luxury residential construction business to view Lutron as their first and full choice for intelligent lighting and control solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Lutron residential system sales growth to meet yearly targets
  • Specify Lutron solutions with residential architects, interior designers, lighting designers, builders, and developers
  • Build a network of competent dealers and installers
  • Uncover opportunities and propose Lutron solutions to solve these needs
  • Develop strategic territory plans that generate new business and drive incremental sales at existing accounts
  • Support the residential, commercial, and hospitality business units by driving shading business development and specifications, collaborating closely with design and build professionals across these markets.
  • Serve as the strategic sales advocate for Lutron's shading product lines across business units, ensuring strong market positioning and alignment between customer needs and product capabilities.
  • Be a technical expert of all Lutron products and solutions in the luxury residential portfolio
  • Stay current with market trends and anticipate account needs and opportunities
  • Conduct training sessions on solutions, products, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with Mexico sales and specifications teams to align strategies, share insights, and meet regional sales goals

  • Qualifications

  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in luxury residential, hospitality, or architectural solutions
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering
  • Proven understanding of shading systems, lighting controls, and smart home technologies
  • Fluent in English and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel approximately 75% of the time
  • Valid driver's license
