A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Sales Professional in Grid Technologies, you will be the driving force behind building strong customer relationships and maximizing project financial performance. Your role includes developing effective sales strategies, identifying business opportunities, and ensuring customer needs are met in a rapidly evolving energy landscape. You will work closely with the Project Manager (PM) to achieve project objectives in line with management standards and customer requirements, while analyzing financial aspects to keep projects within budget and optimize profit margins. Your contribution will be key to overall project success.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Mexican customers involved in power generation and transmission projects. Collaborate closely with the sales team, proposal team, and EPC customers to define winning strategies, prepare bids, and negotiate contracts. Identify early-stage opportunities and lead the sales approach to secure project awards. Support customers in developing the Mexican market by leveraging Siemens Energy’s network and resources. Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout all project phases. Ensure compliance with protocols, policies, and guidelines of the integrated management system (EHS, Quality).What You Bring
Professional attitude that inspires trust and confidence, with strong adaptability to changing environments. Cross-cultural awareness and ability to make decisions independently, even in remote locations. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or similar), with 5+ years of professional experience in technical sales. Technical knowledge of transmission products and EPC projects, with English at a professional working proficiency level. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time.
