Sales Representative
Our client is a leading IT hardware manufacturer seeking a Sales Executive to come on board.
As the SDR, you'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads and running targeted outbound prospecting campaigns. You'll collaborate closely with both Sales and Marketing to develop strong Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and ensure a smooth handover to the Sales team.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and engage prospective customers through calls, email, social media, networking and referrals.
- Respond quickly to inbound enquiries and nurture warm leads.
- Understand customer challenges across multiple market segments.
- Qualify prospects and hand over sales ready leads (MQLs).
- Maintain accurate CRM records (MS Dynamics experience a plus).
- Support tradeshows, events and wider marketing activities.
- Contribute ideas, collaborate with colleagues, and help drive team success.
- Experience in sales development, customer service, or account management (B2B preferred).
- Strong communication skills across phone, email and face to face.
- Organised, detail focused and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Resilient, proactive and adaptable with a growth mindset.
- Understanding of longer sales cycles and multi stakeholder decision making beneficial.
- Knowledge of GDPR and good data management practices.
