How You'll Create Impact
What You'll Be Responsible For
- Owning and executing a Territory Sales Plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Growing revenue within existing accounts while identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Building strong relationships with surgeons, theatre staff, procurement teams and hospital stakeholders
- Promoting Zimmer Biomet solutions and executing national marketing initiatives at a territory level
- Acting as the key liaison between customers and internal teams including Marketing, Operations and Finance
- Providing high-quality operating theatre support, demonstrating professionalism, preparation and technical confidence
- Delivering product training, in-services and workshops to customers
- Ensuring all activity is compliant with regulatory, quality and legal requirements
A significant component of this role involves supporting cases in theatre and managing end-to-end case logistics, including:
- Proactively securing case bookings with hospitals and practice managers
- Managing instrument and implant preferences through internal systems
- Coordinating loan sets and reviewing instrument trays prior to cases
- Providing in-case support as required
- Managing long-term consignment stock and post-case returns
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Degree qualification in Business, Marketing, Health, Nursing, Science or a related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in medical device sales
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales growth and territory performance
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to identify and convert opportunities
- Confidence engaging with and presenting to senior medical professionals
- Ability to quickly learn complex products and technical information
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, positive and solutions-focused mindset
- Orthopaedic or operating theatre experience
- Experience working across multiple business functions
- Knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitor portfolios
Travel Expectations
- Significant and frequent travel on own sales territory (90%)
- Infrequent domestic and international travel
