Role Overview
The Digital Product Owner will be the central owner of Sturlite’s digital ecosystem spanning Salesforce (employee app), Dealer App (ordering/schemes/payments), HRMS (attendance & HRMS) and all integrations with SAP S/4HANA. This role sits at the intersection of sales operations, technology, product thinking, and business process excellence, ensuring that all digital workflows run smoothly across business divisions and sales depots. You will act as the single point of ownership for defining business requirements, designing digital workflows, coordinating with implementation partners, validating integrations, driving adoption across sales teams, and ensuring the entire system runs like a unified operating engine. This is a leadership-track role for someone who can think end-to-end, own outcomes, and orchestrate multiple teams while keeping user experience and business impact at the center.

Key Responsibilities :
1. Product Ownership – Salesforce (Employee Sales App)
• Own full requirement gathering across Lighting, Wires, Switchgear, Fans, and Solar teams
• Define workflows for beat plans, market visits, orders, collections, schemes, incentives, and competitor tracking
• Finalize dashboards for Sales Officers, ASMs, Regional Heads, National Heads, and Management
• Work with Appstrail to design user-friendly, high-performance Salesforce screens
• Conduct UAT and ensure the build matches business expectations
• Drive system adoption across all levels of the sales organization.
2. Product Ownership – Dealer App (Ordering, Schemes, Payments)
• Define end-to-end ordering flows (RO/REPO/FPO/NPLO)
• Own scheme visibility, target achievements, dealer dashboards
• Own dealer onboarding workflow and approval chain
• Coordinate price list, catalogue, payment gateway, and scheme integrations
• Validate claims, replacements, and CN/DN workflows
• Ensure seamless sync between Dealer App → Salesforce → SAP
3. Integration Leadership (SAP, Salesforce, Dealer App, HRMS)
• Work closely with the SAP consultant to map customer masters, product hierarchy, pricing, credit limits, ageing, scheme logic, and order-to-billing rules
• Define attendance, leave, and expense claim rules inside Salesforce
• Validate end-to-end data flow across systems
• Own functional testing of all APIs and integrations
• Maintain consistency of business logic across all applications
4. Data Governance
• Set standards for customer master creation, territory mapping, and hierarchy
• Define validation rules and duplicate prevention logic
• Align product hierarchy and scheme applicability with SAP
• Conduct periodic data audits and cleansing
• Ensure the system remains clean, accurate, and compliant
5. Change Management & Adoption
• Create user training plans with Appstrail and internal HR
• Conduct cross-functional adoption sessions across sales and depot teams
• Monitor user behavior and usage data
• Drive behavioral change through structured communication
• Ensure new recruits are digitally onboarded from Day 1
6. Vendor Management
• Act as single point of contact for implementation partner (Salesforce + Dealer App)
• Coordinate with GreytHR on HRMS workflows
• Run weekly sprint reviews, UAT cycles, product demos, and issue tracking
• Ensure vendors deliver to spec, timeline, and quality standards
• Evaluate enhancements and maintain a feature roadmap
Ideal Candidate Profile Experience
• 6–12 years in Product Management, Business Analysis, Sales Ops, CRM ownership, or Digital Transformation
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Zoho, Dynamics, or similar CRM platforms
• Exposure to SAP, HRMS systems, or dealer/distributor apps strongly preferred
• Experience working with sales-heavy organizations (FMEG, FMCG, Consumer Durables , Telecom, )
Skills :
• Strong process understanding in sales, channel management, and field operations
• Ability to translate business needs into product specifications
• Comfort working with technical teams, APIs, integrations, data flows
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret dashboards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
