About the Position
The Sales team member for NBT within Response (Ad Sales function at BCCL) is tasked with driving the branch revenue across NBT – our language newspaper. The role focuses on growing revenue from existing language-first & language-exclusive accounts and tapping into potential language clients. The role holder will focus on both L2L (local to local) and L2O (local to others) business models, leveraging opportunities across clients and industry verticals within the assigned markets. The incumbent should execute the Languages Sales Strategy curated for the branch, meeting the annual sales targets and ensuring sustained year-on-year revenue growth and market share growth
Areas of Responsibility
Execute strategic sales plans to increase advertising revenue across verticals for NBT newspaper.
Analytical & Numerical Proficiency - candidate must demonstrate numerical aptitude and be comfortable working with data to drive business insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use functions such as Pivot Tables, basic formulas, and data analysis tools. The role needs comfort with interpreting numbers, preparing performance dashboards, and drawing actionable insights from client data and sales trends.
Educational Qualifications Required
Master’s degree (MBA/PGDM) in Sales or Marketing
