Role Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce e B2 B Solution Lead with hands-on experience in implementing Salesforce B2 B Commerce (e B2 B) solutions and integrating them with enterprise systems such as Distribution Management Systems (DMS) and SAP. The role will be responsible for designing scalable digital commerce solutions, enabling seamless order-to-cash processes, and ensuring smooth system interoperability across the ecosystem.
Responsibilities-
Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering
1. Conduct workshops with business stakeholders to understand current processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders (Sales, Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance) to translate business requirements into scalable commerce and integration solutions.
3. Translate business needs into clear, structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
4. Create end-to-end process maps, data models, and gap analysis.
Solution Design & Functional Ownership
1. Design scalable and best-practice Salesforce solutions aligned to business objectives.
2. Lead end-to-end implementation of Salesforce e B2 B (B2 B Commerce) solutions, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-launch optimization.
3. Define integration architecture leveraging APIs, middleware, and event-based patterns to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance.
4. Ensure alignment of e B2 B capabilities with ERP-driven processes such as order management, invoicing, fulfilment, and returns.
5. Define data migration and data quality requirements.
Implementation Coordination
1. Work closely with Salesforce developers, integration teams, and SAP/DMS teams to drive timely and high-quality delivery.
2. Identify risks, dependencies, and integration bottlenecks, and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
3. Support UAT, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and hyper care for e B2 B implementations.
Stakeholder & Project Management
1. Act as the primary liaison between business teams and technical teams.
2. Manage client expectations, drive decisions, and ensure solutions sign-offs.
3. Support project planning, risk identification, and dependency management.
Change Management & Training
1. Prepare training materials and deliver end-user training sessions.
2. Support change management activities and ensure user adoption.
3. Provide post go-live hyper care and continuous improvement recommendations.
Requirements-
Functional Expertise
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Functional consultant/Business Analyst.
- Proven experience implementing Salesforce B2 B Commerce (e B2 B) solutions.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP and/or Distribution Management Systems (DMS).
- Solid understanding of B2 B commerce processes: pricing, contracts, catalogues, orders, fulfilment, and invoicing.
- Experience in writing user stories, process flows, BRDs/FRDs, and mapping business processes.
Technical Appreciation
- Hands-on Salesforce configuration skills (Flows, Permissions, Objects, Validation Rules).
- Understanding of APIs, integration patterns, and data migration approaches.
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams (developers, architects).
Tools-
- JIRA / Azure Dev Ops for user story management.
- Miro / Visio / Lucid chart for process modelling.
- Excel / Power point for documentation and reporting.
