Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect / Lead (Contractor)

Location: Remote / Global

Department: Digital IT – Salesforce (DASH 360)


Position Summary

The Salesforce Commerce Cloud Solution Architect (Contractor) will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of global commerce solutions across the DASH 360 platform. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud along with the ability to architect multi-cloud, scalable, and secure digital commerce experiences.

You will define enterprise-level solution standards, drive test-driven development, ensure architectural integrity, and collaborate across global teams to deliver unified, high-performing commerce capabilities for VGO’s customer and partner ecosystem.


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years Salesforce experience, including 5+ years in Commerce Cloud (B2B/B2C/OmniStudio Commerce).
  • Proven success delivering multi-region, enterprise Commerce Cloud solutions.
  • Strong MuleSoft or middleware integration experience.
  • Deep understanding of global order management, pricing, catalogs, and product data.
  • Expertise in performance tuning, caching, scalable solutions.
  • Experience with automation, CI/CD, test frameworks, and Git-based DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud integration patterns.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills across distributed teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect, B2C Commerce Architect, or Application Architect certifications.
  • Experience working with multi-org global commerce landscapes.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with headless commerce, Apex REST APIs, Lightning Web Components.
