  • Salesforce Software Engineer in Brisbane (Hybrid 60% In-Office)

  • $900-$1100 per day inclusive, dependent on experience

Are you a highly skilled Salesforce Developer ready to make a significant impact on public sector services? We are partnering with a major Government entity in Brisbane seeking an experienced Salesforce Software Engineer to join a strategic initiative focused on enhancing their digital licensing and online service capabilities. Ideally seeking someone with skills in Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and code review/QA collaboration.

ROLE

This is a hands‑on role where you will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, technical quality assurance, and deployment excellence.

  • Platform Focus: Develop, enhance, and maintain solutions across Salesforce Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and Public Sector Solutions.
  • Technical Depth: Write clean, scalable code using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and OmniStudio.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct critical code reviews for custom vendor solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards, security, and scalability. Collaborate closely with QA teams on test strategies and defect resolution.
  • DevOps Excellence: Oversee and enhance CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices using modern tools like Git/GitHub, Copado, or Azure DevOps.
  • Integration: Implement secure RESTful API integrations and utilize AWS services where necessary for scalable deployments.

YOU

  • Proven experience delivering solutions across Salesforce Experience Cloud (Portals/Digital Sites) and Service Cloud (Case Management/Omni‑channel).
  • Demonstrable experience implementing or customising Salesforce Public Sector Solutions.
  • Advanced skills in Apex, LWC, and OmniStudio development.
  • Strong history of leading and participating in code reviews and collaborating effectively with QA teams.
  • Proficiency in modern CI/CD practices leveraging Git (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket) for version control.
  • Experience with security, access control, and ideally Identity Management (SSO, OAuth) in a government or highly regulated setting.
  • Current Salesforce Certifications are highly desirable, especially Platform Developer I & II, Platform App Builder, and OmniStudio Developer.
