Role Overview

A Salesforce OmniStudio / Vlocity Developer designs and develops industry-specific solutions using OmniStudio components to deliver guided user experiences, automate processes, and integrate Salesforce with external systems.

OmniStudio / Vlocity Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce OmniStudio (Vlocity)

  • OmniScripts (Guided Flows)

  • FlexCards

  • DataRaptors (Extract, Load, Transform)

  • Integration Procedures

  • Vlocity Data Packs

  • OmniStudio Designer & Debugger

  • OmniStudio best practices and performance tuning

Salesforce Platform Skills

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud

  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)

  • Apex & SOQL

  • Custom Objects, Fields, Security Model

  • Salesforce Flows

  • Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop OmniStudio components (OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors)

  • Build scalable and reusable guided user experiences

  • Implement integrations using Integration Procedures

  • Develop LWCs to extend OmniStudio functionality

  • Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization

  • Support UAT, deployments, and post-go-live activities

  • Maintain documentation and follow Salesforce best practices
