Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Strategy

  • Own and grow the Salesforce practice , including vision, roadmap, and execution
  • Define service offerings across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, and Industry Clouds
  • Build and manage practice P&L, utilization, margins, and growth targets
  • Establish delivery standards, governance, and best practices

Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

  • Act as a Salesforce SME and solution leader in client discussions and pre-sales
  • Lead solution design, effort estimation, and proposal development
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive pipeline, win deals, and expand accounts
  • Build strong executive relationships with customers and Salesforce ecosystem partners

Delivery Excellence

  • Ensure high-quality delivery across Salesforce implementations, integrations, and managed services
  • Oversee project execution, risk management, and client satisfaction
  • Drive adoption of Agile delivery models and Salesforce best practices
  • Support complex escalations and critical delivery issues

Team Building & Talent Development

  • Hire, mentor, and grow Salesforce Architects, Developers, Consultants, and Admins
  • Define career paths, training plans, and certification strategy
  • Build a strong Salesforce CoE culture focused on innovation and accountability

Innovation & Ecosystem Growth

  • Drive innovation using Salesforce platform capabilities, AI (Einstein), automation, and integrations
  • Align Salesforce solutions with DataSkate’s broader data, analytics, and cloud offerings
  • Strengthen partnerships with Salesforce and ISV ecosystem

Required Skills & Experience

Experience

  • 10+ years overall experience in Salesforce / CRM / enterprise applications
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing Salesforce programs or practices
  • Proven experience building or scaling a Salesforce practice in an SI/consulting environment

Salesforce Expertise

  • Strong hands-on understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities
  • Experience across core Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ)
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and enterprise system landscapes

Leadership & Business Skills

  • Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills
  • Experience owning delivery, margins, and utilization metrics
  • Ability to influence sales, delivery, and engineering teams
  • Strategic mindset with execution discipline

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Nice to have
  • Salesforce Certified Application/System Architect
  • Salesforce Consultant certifications
