Salesforce Solution Architect

Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect with strong expertise across the entire Salesforce ecosystem, including Education Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and Invoice / Billing Platform Integrations. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions and providing technical leadership across delivery and pre-sales engagements. Key Responsibilities Design and own end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture Lead solutioning across multiple Salesforce products, including: Sales Cloud Service Cloud Education Cloud Salesforce CPQ Architect and govern Invoice and Billing platform integrations with Salesforce (e.g., invoicing systems, finance/ERP platforms) Translate business requirements into technical designs, architecture diagrams, and implementation plans Define data models, security, sharing rules, and automation strategies Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and external systems Ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and invoice, payment, and finance systems Provide technical leadership on Apex, LWC, Flows, CPQ, and integration frameworks Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, governor limits, performance, and security standards Review solution designs, configurations, and code for quality and scalability Support pre-sales activities, including solutioning, estimations, and RFP responses Mentor Salesforce developers and guide teams on architectural decisions Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders Requirements Required Skills & Experience 813 years of overall IT experience with strong Salesforce architecture experience Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform and ecosystem Hands-on experience with: Education Cloud Salesforce CPQ Invoice / Billing platform integrations Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL Salesforce Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes Strong understanding of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and data architecture Experience integrating Salesforce with finance, invoicing, or ERP systems Knowledge of data migration strategies and large data volumes Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based deployments Experience in public sector, education, or regulated industries is a plus Certifications (Optional) Salesforce Platform Developer I & II Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer Salesforce Sharing & Visibility Architect Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect Salesforce CPQ Specialist (preferred) Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to lead architectural discussions with clients and teams Mentoring and leadership mindset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Benefits Opportunity to work on complex, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations Exposure to Education, CPQ, and Invoice/Billing integrations Influence enterprise-scale architecture decisions Lead and grow Salesforce technical teams Work on impactful public sector and large transformation programs
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, or a related field. Certifications in Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Content Marketing, or Canva/Adobe tools are a plus.
