- Preparation of laboratory practicals, including set-up and breakdown as per teachers’ requests, testing such labs and equipment beforehand to ensure a successful learning experience
- Ensuring all laboratory equipment is in good working condition, clean, stored in a safe manner and inventoried periodically.
- Ensuring adequate supply of equipment and materials is always available
- Responsible for checking the orders upon delivery to ensure orders are complete and in good condition.
- Safe storage and removal of harmful chemicals and equipment
- Keeping track of materials borrowed by teachers and students
- Maintaining general tidiness and organization of the laboratories at the end of each workday
- Labeling, organizing and storing chemicals and materials with awareness of safety issues, and inventory periodically.
